BRB Hospitals Limited is currently seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Medical Transcriptionist to join our Radiology & Imaging Department. As a Medical Transcriptionist, you will play a crucial role in accurately transcribing and documenting radiology reports, contributing to the efficient and effective delivery of patient care. Job Responsibilities:

• Transcribe and document radiology reports, including diagnostic imaging findings, procedures, and impressions, in a timely and accurate manner.
• Review and edit transcribed reports for grammar, spelling, clarity, and consistency.
• Ensure compliance with departmental and organizational guidelines for report formatting, style, and content.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information.
• Collaborate with consultant radiologists and other consultants to clarify and verify information as needed.
• Prioritize and manage a high volume of transcription assignments while meeting deadlines.
• Participate in quality assurance activities to maintain high standards of transcription accuracy.
• Stay updated with medical terminology, radiology procedures, and industry advancements.

Age limit: Maximum 35 years.

Academic Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree/graduation in any discipline is required.
• Additional certification or training in medical transcription is preferred.

Experience and Skills:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical Transcriptionist, preferably in the radiology and imaging department.
• Proficient in medical terminology, specifically related to radiology and imaging procedures.
• Strong knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and formatting conventions.
• Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
• Familiarity with transcription software and EHR systems.
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy and consistency.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Maintains a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Other Requirements:

• Familiarity with medical transcription guidelines, regulations, and best practices.
• Proficiency in using dictation equipment and software.
• Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as per departmental requirements.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
