BRB Hospitals Limited is seeking qualified and dedicated candidates for the position of ETP and STP Operator in the Engineering & Maintenance Department. This is an excellent opportunity to join our esteemed healthcare institution and contribute to the efficient operation of our Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and Sewage Treatment Plant (STP).

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor the ETP and STP systems to ensure the effective treatment of wastewater and sewage
• Perform regular inspections and maintenance tasks on the equipment and machinery associated with the ETP and STP
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment
• Monitor and record data related to water quality, flow rates, chemical usage, and equipment performance
• Troubleshoot any operational issues and take appropriate corrective actions
• Collaborate with the engineering team to implement improvements and optimize the efficiency of the ETP and STP systems
• Report any malfunctions or abnormalities to the department head

Academic Qualifications:

• Minimum HSC (Higher Secondary Certificate) in Science or equivalent
• Certification or training in wastewater treatment or related fields is preferred

Experience:

• At least 05 (Five) years of experience in operating and maintaining ETP and STP systems in a hospital or industrial setting
• Familiarity with the principles and practices of wastewater treatment and sewage management

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of ETP and STP operations, including the use of equipment and chemicals
• Good understanding of environmental regulations and compliance standards
• Ability to interpret and analyze data related to water quality and treatment processes
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
• Effective communication and teamwork skills

Skill Sets:

• Proficiency in operating and maintaining ETP and STP equipment
• Knowledge of chemical dosing and testing procedures
• Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
• Ability to use computerized systems for data logging and analysis
