BRB Hospitals Limited is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our Engineering & Maintenance Department. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within our hospital facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, Generators, Substation, and equipment (LT, HT, X-former)
• Conduct regular inspections to identify electrical issues, hazards, or malfunctions
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems using testing devices and tools
• Perform repairs and replacements of faulty electrical components, such as switches, circuit breakers, Control Panel, and outlets
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and regulations in all installations and repairs
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff and contractors to coordinate electrical projects
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed
• Conduct preventive maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance and longevity of electrical systems
• Respond to emergency electrical issues and provide timely resolutions

Academic Qualifications:

• Minimum SSC (Secondary School Certificate) or equivalent
• Certification or diploma in electrical trade is required

Experience:

• At least 05 (Five) years of experience as an Electrician, preferably in a healthcare or institutional setting
• Proven track record of successful electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and safety protocols
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and diagrams
• Familiarity with electrical testing equipment and tools
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions effectively
• Understanding of electrical codes and regulations
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Skill Sets:
